Getting Dressed in 16TH CENTURY VENICE | Italian Renaissance Costume
Let's get dressed in 16th century Venice Italy! I love Italian Renaissance clothing, and I'm so happy to share this with you! This dress was inspired by Venetian costumes from the 1560s-1580s. This fantasy historical aesthetic is based entirely on the layers and garments of 16th century clothing. The pair of bodies is technically based on the styles represented in England. Practical experimentation shows favorable results to achieve the looks in the portraiture. All other pieces are patterned after Venetian sources. I made this dress several years ago, and it was super fun to bring it back out for a "get ready with me" showcase! Apologies for the weird frame rate in the intro / talking to camera portions. I recently upgraded my camera, and it was a setting. I've fixed it for future videos! 📍 Camia PDF: https://bit.ly/3ndeL15 Renaissance kirtle PDF: https://bit.ly/2KdsAP4 🦄 WEBSITE!
