WARNNG: Cuteness overdose alert! July marks the 2 year anniversary of Mr. J. and I becoming dog parents. We are celebrating by going down memory lane, showing you puppy videos and pictures from when Mochi came into our lives (and turned it up side down!) Also this week: A daytrip to the picturesque town of Drøbak, a bus ride away from Oslo. // Did Mochi know? On a warm July day two years ago, Mr. J and I were giddy with excitement as we drove to a small town two hours south of Oslo to pick up a puppy we had decided to name Mochi. We were about to become first time dog parents! When we arrived at the breeder’s house, little Mochi (which we immediately recognized because of her black «eye patch») was playing in the garden with her other tiny siblings. Mr. J and I sat down on the grass, and then something wonderful (and a bit strange) happened. Mochi approached us confidently on her quick little puppy legs and jumped onto our laps like she wanted to say hi and check us out. First Mr. J’s and then my lap! None of her siblings did that. When I think back to that bright and sunny July day, this memory makes me smile. Maybe Mochi knew. From that very day, our lives would be inextricably linked. In the best way possible.
