2026-January FWAS Program: Electric Vehicle Myths
Presented by Eric Pratt, Board Secretary of the North Texas Renewable Energy Group, an education and advocacy nonprofit. Eric's presentation -- Electric Vehicle Myths and FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt), An Owner’s Perspective -- will share his knowledge about the benefits using electric vehicles, point out the many false ideas about them, and share his beliefs that we (humans) cannot continue our current energy resource spiral. Please note, I shortened the program by removing the bird identification quiz and comments about our local chapter's upcoming activities. The video playback of another film during Eric's PowerPoint caused a brief delay, and the voice sync did not play well, but I chose to leave that portion as the message of that speaker is still understood.. Thanks for visiting. Want to know more about our chapter, visit www.fwas.org
