Dermal Filler Ultrasound

Ultrasound Imaging of Facial Dermal Filler and Blood Vessels. Ultrasound can be a useful tool in examining the face for previous sites of dermal filler. It can also be used to map the facial vessels to help avoid danger areas and spot individual anatomical variations. As the facial vessels can be quite small it is beneficial to use a good quality ultrasound machine with sensitive colour Doppler. In this video we are using the VINNO V6 ultrasound with a 6-16Mhz linear probe. We take a look at the temporal fossa which has had dermal filler injected previously. We also view the deep temporal artery branches and the superficial temporal artery.
