An EXTREME risk for severe weather has been highlighted across portions of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This is the highest tornado risk possible. Supercell storms are forecast to form around 4-7pm with a threat for tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds. This threat will be maximized across Southeastern Saskatchewan and into Southern Manitoba. A strong tornado cannot be ruled out across the Canada Prairie. There is also the threat for a very significant damaging wind event in North Dakota. Wind gusts could approach 80 mph, with tornadoes possible as well.
