We get good waves ranging from 2-8’+ and we test both boards as Thrusters and Quads in FCSII and Futures fins. After thorough testing in both fin systems and multiple fin templates in the wide range of surf I liked this board best as a Quad. The Cymatic surfs like a HPSB and is very responsive with its short but straight outline offering excellent speed down the line and vertical surfing in the pocket. This board excels in 2-6’ surf and challenged me to test my rail game in 6-8’ surf. I highly recommend the Cymatic for intermediate to expert level surfers.
