He received his undergraduate degree from Miami University, earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, and completed his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga. Dr. Vukin serves on the Board of Directors of Prevent Blindness North Carolina and is a member of the Public Policy Committee for the North Carolina Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
