ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 champion (England) Liam Plunkett signed a one-day contract with the B's to play on June 26, 2026. The Ballers are an independent baseball team in the Pioneer Baseball League, featuring 12 clubs from the western United States. Plunkett struck out a batter on five pitches in his PBL debut before heading back to the Oakland Coliseum for a Major League Cricket broadcast with the San Francisco Unicorns.
