Displaced, Disappointed, Fed Nine People. Good Day Actually.

We already had to be out of the house for the day because of work being done, and I was really hoping I’d finally find shoes I’d been waiting 4.5 months for. When we got there and they weren’t there, the whole day shifted a little. Plans changed, everyone was hungry, and for a while it felt like the day was sliding sideways. But when you’re responsible for a lot of people, you learn that a day doesn’t have to go perfectly to still turn out well. Sometimes the win is simply adjusting, feeding everyone, keeping things moving, and finding a way forward anyway. This video is a real day in motion — disappointment, regrouping, Costco stops, kids, decisions, and somehow ending the day better than it started.
