BAKE WITH ME | pumpkin & chocolate round croissants! 🥐

Let's bake some delicious round croissants! 🥐 Today we are trying our hand at baking these treats inspired by the viral creations at Lafayette Bakery in NYC. Happy baking! 💫 RECIPE: 2 sheets of puff pastry 1/4 cup softened butter 4 oz of softened cream cheese 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups powdered sugar Pinch of sea salt 1 tbsp of cocoa powder 1 tbsp of pumpkin puree 1/2 tsp of cinnamon 1 tsp of turmeric (or orange dye) Pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs, & mint to garnish DIRETIONS: Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper. Thaw puff pastry and roll out as much as you can. Use a pizza cutter to cut the puff pastry into even strips. Roll the strips into a circular shape. You can combine multiple strips depending on what size you would like. Place dough rounds on baking sheet leaving a couple inches of space in between. Bake for 20 mins while checking periodically. Make cream cheese frosting by combing the butter, cream cheese, vanilla, powdered sugar, & salt in a mixer. Beat on low until smooth. If making both chocolate & pumpkin flavors, divide frosting into two bowls. Add cocoa powder to one bowl and pumpkin + cinnamon to the other bowl. Top croissants with either chocolate or pumpkin frosting & garnish with pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs, & mint! ENJOY 🎃 LET’S BE FRIENDS!
