Produced by Kylie Mooncakes Directed by Stephen Anunson Directors Note: For the past two years the red curtain in this video was the wall and door to my “bedroom” in an apartment too small for anything much more than sleeping. I’m blessed to now be in this space where we can make art together and I’m so honored to have had my new home visited by a community that moves me to laugh, create and show up for each other. I love you all and I’m grateful to be a part of sharing your talent with the world. And a huge shoutout to Kylie Mooncakes for putting this project together. She is a dream producer who brings integrity, talent and joy to every set experience. Producers Note: We couldn’t possibly capture all the incredible drag talent that has graced Seattle over the years, but I look at this gorgeous cast of artists and love that we were able to capture a moment in time that features the past, present, and future of our lil scene. Getting to work with all of these artists after such a long time of not seeing each other was so revitalizing, and it was so dope being reminded of why I love drag through and through with each shoot. I’m so grateful to everyone for the time and work they’ve donated, especially Stephen the director, cameraman, editor, and the one who created our beautiful sets. I’m so happy to be a part of this cute lil community, and I’m excited to continue to grow with it and to push our boundaries — because we still have a lot of growing and learning to do lol. This video makes me smile so much and I haven’t gotten tired of watching it on replay yet, I hope you feel the same.
