First TIG welds with my Eastwood TIG200 AC/DC - Some good things and some bad things

Got my Eastwood TIG200 AC/DC TIG welder fired up for the first time. Found a couple issues with it but still was able to weld some scrap steel together to make sure I didn't lose the skills I had when I was welding more frequently. Found out on the first attempt that the foot pedal that was included with the unit was defective so I had to weld using the finger switch for the first time ever. Definitely feel confident that I'm ready to move forward on the exhaust project for the MK4 GTI but will be taking some time to correct some of the non-functioning items on the welder in the long term.
