Hear No Evil See No Evil - 2010 Event Mix (Techno, Hard House, Psy-Trance & DnB)

In 2010 we launched a monthly event called 'Hear No Evil, See No Evil' at My Aeon (before its renovation) in Sydney Rd, Brunswick. It lasted about 9 months and had a lot of guest Djs. A.T.K, D.V.M and myself were the residents. We played everything from Techno, to DnB and everything in between. The sound system was our own, as was the lighting but every month more and more was stripped away from the gig until eventually, after 9 months, we were either to become 'yet another' "progressive & techno gig" or part ways with the venue. We decided to part ways. The event had a unique VJ show which consisted of synched memes and patterns that spanned the entirety of the wall. We had a lot of good memories, like the time there was a brawl across the road that spread out onto the street and we all got locked in the club. This mix was mixed on 2x Pioneer CDJ 1000, 2x Technics SL1200 Mk2 turntables and 1x Pioneer DJM900 mixer. Since this time, we've grown to become an online record label and even published written works. Our music and events still embody what this event was about, which was good music regardless of genre. Different strokes for different folks, coming together under one roof to appreciate what we all bring to the table. It wasn't a big event, the footage and flyers are grainy, but it was ours.
