Try it again, give it one more try, this time with Jesus.

There was a dream God had placed on my heart that I was ready to let go of. For months, I tried everything I knew to make it happen. I prayed, planned, hoped, and pushed…but every door seemed to stay closed. Eventually, I reached a place where I surrendered it completely. I became content whether it happened or not because my peace was finally rooted in God instead of the outcome. Ironically, it was after I let go that everything changed. This message isn’t about trying harder. It’s about trying differently. Maybe there’s something you’ve almost given up on. Maybe a dream, a calling, a relationship, a business, a move, or something God has placed on your heart. Before you let it go, bring it back to God. Not so He can simply bless your plans, but so He can lead your steps. Sometimes He opens the very door we’ve been praying for. Other times, He lovingly redirects us to something better. Either way, we can trust Him. If you’ve been carrying the weight of making it happen on your own, maybe today is your invitation to surrender, trust again, and take one more step—with God leading the way. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6
