鈴木亮平、宮沢氷魚と感極まってハグ／映画『エゴイスト』キャストが語る作品への思い・撮影秘話

Selected for the Competition Section at the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival and nominated for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Costume Design at the 16th Asian Film Awards! Each cast member talks about the film "Egoist." This video features the cast sharing their thoughts on the film and behind-the-scenes stories. The film is based on the autobiographical novel "Egoist" by Takayama Makoto, who has produced many famous columns with his loving and sarcastic perspective. The protagonist Kosuke will be played by Suzuki Ryohei, who is currently on a roll after winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the 45th Japan Academy Awards for his role in "The Blood of Wolves Level 2," as well as other prestigious awards. Kosuke's love interest, Ryuta, will be played by Miyazawa Hio, who has appeared in popular films such as "Decoy," "Goodbye Cruel World," "Legend & Butterfly," and the NHK morning drama "Chimudondon." The film will also feature Emoto Akira as Kosuke's father and Agawa Sawako as Ryuta's mother. The film will be released in theaters on February 10, 2023. The director will be Matsunaga Daishi, known for his work on "Pieta in the Toilet" and "Hanalei Bay." A video has now been released in which the cast talks about their thoughts on the film and behind-the-scenes stories, along with a roughly 2-minute behind-the-scenes video! Ryohei Suzuki talks about his longtime friend, Director Matsunaga's, filming methods and how he treats his actors. Hio Miyazawa expresses how grateful he was to have found the role of Ryuta. Sawako Agawa describes the film's appeal as "kindness." The cast members are interviewed about their thoughts on the film and anecdotes from filming. The video is filled with each cast member's thoughts. "Egoist" is scheduled for release on February 10, 2023.
