Robben Island action, my best Cape Town fishing trip! Here are my secrets.

Yeah Baby! It's the start of winter and the fish have arrived at Robben Island. In this episode I fish with a friend, Josh Cooke. Launching at Three Anchor, we paddled the 8km paddle across to Robben Island for what was soon to be our best fishing trip off Cape Town to date. The morning started off slow but after the sun came up a little more the action began. The fishing was so wild I decided to pull the fly rod out and test my luck. After many hook ups I finally hooked into a Yellowtail but...on the wrong setup, my bass rod and small 2500 coffee grinder with 12lb Grinder braid. I reveal all my secrets, showing exactly what I've been using and catching fish on for the past last year. Josh and myself ended up finding the Yellowtail before making our way back to Three Anchor bay with big smiles on our faces.
