Jn 14, 1-12 “Señor, no sabemos a dónde vas, ¿cómo podemos saber el camino?”

John 14:1-12 At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not lose peace. If you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you, for now I am going to prepare a place for you. When I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and will take you to myself, so that where I am, you may be also. And you know the way to the place where I am going.” Then Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you know my Father also. From now on you know him and have seen him.” Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and yet you still do not know me? Whoever sees me sees the Father. So why do you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Or do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative. It is the Father who dwells in me who does the works. Believe me, I am in the Father and the Father is in me. If you do not believe me, believe it because of the works. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and greater works than these will be done, because I am going to the Father.”
