I Tumbled Lake Michigan Fossil Soup
I tried tumbling fossil soup: fossils that are in soft limestone/dolostone which makes it tricky. Best tip? Skip stage 1 as typically that is so coarse you won't have much host rock left over. Even starting in stage 2 these only ran for 4 days, and for a total of 2 weeks. #rockhounding #fossils #rocktumbling #lakemichigan Have you tumbled fossils and did they turn out ok?
