The Founding Titan Explained: Analyzing the Role of Complacency and Sacrifice | Attack on Titan

The Founding Titan has been a staple in the story of Attack on Titan and that goes for what it represents as well, complacency and sacrifice. Complacency and Sacrifice plays the most pivotal role in not only the inheritors of this titan but the story overall, seeing as it's the most important titan of the nine within the story and the one's who would come to wield its power would change and shape the world as they saw fit. I will touch on the most important figures such as Ymir Fritz, Karl Fritz, The Reiss Family (Uri and Frieda), Grisha Yeager, and lastly Eren Yeager; they all display these qualities within the story and connect even if its indirectly and in their own ways as well. Some withheld to their complacency due to the vow renouncing war and others due to their own stubbornness and inability to see a path forward.
