The weather was absolutely perfect that morning, and I was lucky enough to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen. On Day 2, I made my way down an 800-meter trail to reach the area where the famous blue flames appear. The path was very challenging, but the view of the glowing blue fire was everything I had hoped for — absolutely unforgettable. However, climbing back up from the blue flame area really tested my limits. I’m not someone who exercises regularly, so it felt pretty intense for me. This trip to Kawah Ijen was truly amazing — even perfect, in a way. But I have to be honest: without the help of the trolley porters, I don’t think I could’ve done it on my own. Just that 800-meter path to the blue flames alone was almost beyond what I could physically handle. Time doesn’t wait for anyone, and I’m realizing that maybe it’s time to slow down a little. From now on, I think I’ll take it easier and avoid overly adventurous trips — it’s better to travel within my limits.
