It's only natural that some things don't work out perfectly from the start, that we make mistakes and learn with each attempt. But accepting that things won't be perfect from the beginning? That's often not so easy. My hobbies have taught me exactly that over the past few years. I knit, sew, and bake sourdough bread, and I don't do any of it perfectly. But maybe that's precisely the point. Maybe it's simply about having fun. That's definitely my approach to my wedding dress, too—just get started, make mistakes, and improve with each attempt.
