CTA 'L' - 2025 Holiday Train at Various Locations
The CTA Holiday Train and Bus is a tradition that started in 1992 on the Blue Line, with a simple 2600 series train with a wreath at the front with a sign that read "Seasons Greetings from the CTA". This out of service train would travel across the city to deliver food to local charities and still does so today! The Holiday Train tradition has evolved over the years and 2025 is the 34th anniversary of these yearly events!
