Glock 17 USPSA Carry Optics Setup (A Class) | What I Compete With

🏆 Glock 17 USPSA Carry Optics Build | What I Compete With in A Class In this video I walk through the Glock 17 Carry Optics setup I compete with in USPSA. This is the configuration that helped me reach A Class while shooting local matches and training consistently. The goal of this video is to show the equipment and layout I personally run during competition. This isn’t meant to be a “perfect setup” guide. It’s simply what works for me after spending time training, competing, and refining my gear over the past season. If you're getting into USPSA Carry Optics or trying to understand what competition shooters actually run, this breakdown should give you a solid starting point. One quick note — my setup has evolved slightly since filming this video. I no longer run the Handleit grip because it was a little too abrasive for my preference. I’ve also swapped the trigger shoe and made a few small changes to the setup. This video is Part 1 of the build series, and I’ll continue updating you guys as the setup evolves through more matches and training. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 – Intro 0:22 – Background of the setup 1:00 – Why I run this configuration for competition 1:27 – Switching optics and reasoning 2:12 – Quick summary 2:28 – Optic removal & install process 4:37 – Closer look at the Glock 17 Carry Optics setup 5:42 – Zeroing the optic (simple method) ⸻ 📌 About Me I’m a USPSA Carry Optics shooter currently competing in A Class (USPSA #A173244).
