If there's one thing that Guild Wars 2 has too many of, it's definitely currencies, and if there's anything I never have enough of, it's gold... Anyway, I often get asked on stream what to do with XYZ currency, whether what I mentioned in a video about converting them is still relevant, or where to begin. So I figured I'd put it all in a single guide. First of, we'll talk about the tools (see links just above) that you can and should be using to make these decisions yourself, as there's a good chance that in a couple of weeks, months, or years from now, this advice becomes outdated. The websites, on the other hand, should always remain up to date. Despite this, I do want to go over each and every currency, because they often have a couple of quirks knowing about. Especially when there's multiple ways to convert them to gold, or when some of the in between steps warrant an explanation.
