Voice acting stars Rachael Lillis and Eric Stuart -- well known for voicing ‘Jesse’ and ‘James’ in the English dub of the “Pokémon” anime series -- discuss the show and their careers, and respond to fan questions at their 2019 Fan Expo Canada Q&A panel in Toronto. Rachael Lillis is an American actress, voice actress and script writer. She studied acting in Boston and New York City and has appeared in various theater productions, animated series and independent films. Lillis's voice work can be heard in shows including Pokémon (seasons 1-8), Cubix, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Revolutionary Girl Utena. She has also lent her voice to video games. She has recorded several audio books including Diary of a Fairy Godmother, for which she performed the voices for about 25 characters. Her narration and character vocals can be heard in PBS programming as well, including Nova, American Masters and Sesame Street. Eric S. Stuart is an American voice actor, voice director, musician, singer and songwriter who worked for 4Kids Entertainment, NYAV Post and Central Park Media. He provides voices for English dubs of anime, cartoons and video games. Some of his most prominent roles include Brock and James in Pokémon, Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh! and Gourry Gabriev in Slayers. His rock band, the Eric Stuart Band, has toured with many acts including Peter Frampton (1999, 2000), Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band (1997) and Lynyrd Skynyrd (1997), and has opened for Jethro Tull (1997), Julian Cope (1995), Hall & Oates (1997, 1998) and Chicago (1995, 1997, 1998).
