Hello BookTube! My name is Sydney and my bookish account goes by Sydney and Her Books. Since I started this channel in September of 2024, I wanted to rewind to the beginning of the year to talk about all the books I read before my first videos. Moving forward I intend to do bimonthly reading recaps (Sept/Oct and Nov/Dec!), but for now I'll be talking about everything I read in the first four months of this year. My next reading recap will be all the books I read over the summer and as I was moving out of my last apartment. In this video I'll walk month by month through every book I read in January, February, March, and April. I read 42 books that were mostly fantasy and romance with a few young adult books sprinkled throughout. My lowest rating was two stars and my highest was four and a half. I spent January and February backpacking across Europe and book shopping for my birthday in London, and then I spent March and April at home resting and working.
