I accidentally left my international driver's license behind and couldn't rent a car, but thankfully, the ryokan offered Kagoshima Airport shuttle service. The newly renovated rooms were very clean and had floor heating, which was nice and kept me warm. The open-air terrace with views of Sakurajima was spacious and had a beautiful view, and the in-room sauna was also luxurious. The ryokan's full name is Kirishima Unkai Terrace, Meisui no Yaku, and Kirinosato (霧島雲海テラス 銘水の宿 霧の里). At sunrise, you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea of ​​clouds, and the water from the tap was sweet and delicious, ready to drink. I didn't have high expectations because some reviews said the food was somewhat lacking, but it was still delicious. The menu itself was fairly standard, with nothing special about it, but each dish was delicious, making for a satisfying meal.
