The ONLY Guitar Pedal you Need | BOSS DS-1

The Boss DS-1 is an excellent pedal and often overlooked as some kind of relic or a boring choice to make. I feel it is the only choice to make for me. It kinda feels like a rebel choice to go against the current trends of super expensive pedals and I am fan of gear that punches well above its weight. My head is free from chasing after the numerous drive pedals out there and I can just enjoy the DS-1. The guitar is a Gibson Les Paul 60’s Tribute with stock burstbucker pickups. The pedal is a Boss DS-1 from 2014 – they all sound pretty much the same anyway. The amp is a Blackstar Artisan 10th Anniversary Edition. 10watt EL34. I am running the amp into a Two Notes Captor (for amp loading) and a Two Notes Cab M+ (for virtual cab simulation). The Two Notes Cab M+ is imagining a British 2x10 cab in a studio room with plate reverb. No processing or sound jiggery pokery. Sorry about the sniffing, I tried to cut most of it out. Ha ha.
