How to Make a Stand for an iPhone, Tablet, Art and More....(Easy)

Here is a simple but elegant looking stand for anything from your phone to your favorite piece of Art. Just a couple of cut with a tilted dado blade and you're on your way. With the same concept you can change the dimension to fit your needs. While making your two steps on the base, make sure that the face of your upright lies flush with the back side of your first step. Take a few cuts adjusting the height of the blade and the fence distant, to get that perfect fit. Do this with a test piece made from scrap wood. Once you have it dialed in you are good to go. Since this would an awkward piece to clamp, I used the old wood glue and CA glue trick. Which worked out really nice and strong. So go a head and give it a try. Change up the overall dimensions to make different sizes for different objects to put on your Stand. Always remember to be safe at all times.
