Dan Tirels Monoprinting with plastic bags and eggshells ? Recycled art materials.
Experimenting with abstract compositions with monoprinting techniques using eggshells and plastic bags. I'm often asked what type of plastic works best for this method of making monoprints, as you can see in this demo, recycled bags are ideal and can be used many times. Eggshells are great to add a little bit of random textures, (sorry for any vegans watching, but the eggs are free range) Remember when using the eggs wash them and remove the thin membrane from inside. I originally intended to go to the beach today and collect some shells to work on this demo but unfortunately a storm arrived and eggshells seemed a workable alternative.
