Aves sin nido - Clorinda Matto de Turner (resumen)

Birds Without a Nest (1889) was the first of three novels by Peruvian author Clorinda Matto de Turner (1852-1909). It is her magnum opus, recognized as the precursor to Indigenismo, a primarily Peruvian literary movement. Clorinda Matto de Turner was exiled from Peru when Andrés Avelino Cáceres's government fell to the Pierolistas for being his sympathizer. The Pierolistas raided her home and her brother's printing press, burning her effigy and several of her books. She died in exile in Argentina.
