"Stand for Europe!" - EU Anti-Russia March (Der Offene Aufmarsch Parody)
"Stand for Europe!" is a modern remake inspired by the East German song “Der Offene Aufmarsch” — originally written as a warning against Western militarism during the Cold War. In a bold reinterpretation for the 21st century, "Stand for Europe!" turns the message around: this time, the threat comes from the East, and the call is for a united Europe to stand firm in defense of freedom, democracy, and sovereignty. Note: I should've included Iceland and Norway on the map as well, apologies for not doing so. Lyrics: [Verse 1] The Council has spoken in Brussels — Can you hear the call? No longer the whispers of warnings: It’s justice for all. They speak of a threat that’s advancing again, Through pressure and proxies, through hackers and men. But Europe stands firm, defends what is right — From Tallinn to Lisbon, prepared for the fight. [Chorus] Stand for your nations, stand for your freedom! Now is the hour to act. Before the aggressors redraw every border, Let’s hold to the values we’ve backed. Now Europe is strong and united — No country will face this alone. So rise in resolve! The cause will be worth it, And peace will return to our home. Yes, rise in resolve! The cause will be worth it, And peace will return to our home. [Verse 2] The Kremlin repeats its ambition — Can you hear it now? They speak with the voice of revision, Prepared to disavow. With war on their lips and with oil in their hand, They trample on treaties and twist every stand. From Kyiv to Vilnius, we’ve seen the play — So Europe stands tall and says, “No, not today!” [Chorus] Stand for your nations, stand for your freedom! [Verse 3] They threaten with sanctions and sabotage — Can you see the game? They speak of the West as immoral, But bear none of the blame. They weaponize trade, they weaponize fear — But freedom and truth are still stronger than smear. This challenge we face is history’s test, And we’ll stand for peace with the will of the West. #europe #eu #europa #ukraine #russia #war #ww3 #history #nationalanthem #patrioticsong #patrioticmusic #canada #news #slavaukraine
