The 344-meter-high pair of massive monolithic granite block named as Konaje Kallu is located at 6 km from the city of Mangaluru. It is a paradise for trekkers who love a challenging way high. The place is also holy as it has small temples dedicated to Lord Kalabairava and Goddess Mahamayi. The locals call it Karnika Kshethra, as believers have observed miracles happening. The specialties of the Konaje Kallu is that, it has pond named Boodikallu, where the water is found throughout the year. On the northern side it is believed that there are 108 Samadhis in the cave. Shrine of Sharadadas Swamiji is also found. The Konaje Kallu is surrounded by forest and lush greenery.
