[New West] COVID-19 Parade - Police Cars, Fire & Ambulance!

Captured here are the emergency services of New Westminster, BC, driving past Royal Columbian Hospital to cheer for frontline medical workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Parades like this one have been happening almost nightly at 7pm in front of hospitals in British Columbia and throughout Canada. Just before the parade was about to start that evening the New Westminster Police Department was called to an armed robbery in progress and had to turn around to respond. The procession then went ahead with the New Westminster Fire & Rescue Services, Metro Vancouver Transit Police, Coquitlam RCMP and a New Westminster Police car as well. Right after the parade an emergency ambulance of the British Columbia Ambulance Service transported a patient to the emergency room at the hospital.
