Join me as I review LEGO Harry Potter Knockturn Alley 4720 from 2003, a 209 piece vintage LEGO Harry Potter set recreating dark arts emporium Borgin and Burkes and the entrance to Knockturn Alley. LEGO Knockturn Alley includes two exclusive minifigures depicting Harry Potter and Lucius Malfoy but misses the opportunity to include Draco Malfoy and the sinister Mr Borgin. New to my channel? There's a 60 second LEGO speed build and a detailed review of the 2003 LEGO Harry Potter Knockturn Alley set including a look at all of the dark magic artefacts inside Borgin and Burkes including a brain in a jar, magical potions and The Hand of Glory. Knockturn Alley is the dark and winding passage that joins up to Diagon Alley where witches and wizards can buy dark magic items such as vanishing cabinets, shrunken heads and flesh eating slug repellent. Using the LEGO fireplace from 4840 The Burrow, I recreate Harry's first journey by floo network which goes wrong when Harry Potter mispronounces Diagon Alley as diagonally and ends up inside Borgin and Burkes witnessing Lucius Malfoy selling dark magic items to Mr Borgin to avoid Ministry of Magic scrutiny. The scene appeared in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets but was cut in some of the movie edits. Knockturn Alley includes an interactive fireplace with hidden chamber and trapdoor so you can make Harry Potter appear inside Borgin and Burkes as though he just arrived by the floo network.
