Bayer is located in Berlin’s Wedding quarter. This former West Berlin neighborhood, with its 80,000 inhabitants, is now part of the city’s Mitte district. Wedding is known for its multicultural melting pot of inhabitants, which is also reflected in its cityscape, mainly consisting of Gründerzeit-era architecture mixed with high-rise social housing built in the 1970s and 80s. The “African Quarter” is the only place you’ll find mostly housing developments typical of the 1920s and 1930s. Bayer’s Wedding site is on Müllerstrasse, just a few yards from the Reinickendorfer Strasse subway stop, with the famous Berlin Friedrichstrasse station just four stops away.
