Meanwhile, in the kitchen, they're already kneading the dough for Tatar baursaks—the kind my grandmother used to bake. We gather viburnum berries from the garden, and now the fragrant balish is ready for dinner. And of course, what would we do without the accordion? Even feeding the chickens is more fun with the heartfelt Tatar songs that everyone has known since infancy. At the end of the day, a table groaning with treats awaits us: everything we've prepared, everything we've found in the garden, everything we've poured our hearts into.
