HEAVENLY MUSIC – Full Original Rock Opera Pilot and Workshop Heavenly Music is an original rock opera inspired by the true story of a young girl from Ukraine who comes to New York searching for purpose, belonging, and her artistic voice. Far from home and struggling to find her place, she discovers a new family, a new community, and ultimately reconnects with her soul through the power of gospel music in Harlem. Guided by her mentors, Gregory Kelly and the community of Mama Foundation for the Arts, she embarks on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and transformation. Through music, friendship, faith, and perseverance, she learns that her greatest strength comes from embracing who she truly is. Combining rock, gospel, and musical theater, Heavenly Music celebrates the universal search for identity, hope, and the healing power of community.
