Don’t Lose Your Cool – Replacing the Radiator Fan on a 2011 Jeep JKU

The coolant temperature of my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the 3.8L V6 started going hot on my way home. I noticed that I didn’t hear the radiator cooling fan running, which is similar to what happened to me when the fan failed back in 2016. After a quick test (shown in the video), I realized the fan was bad and needed to be replaced. This video shows how to replace the fan – it’s a pretty easy task that needs minimal tools and is easily done in a garage, parking lot, driveway, etc. in less than an hour.
