"Spring Love", Diana Muzyk skates her 2024 Junior Combined Free Dance to 'Romeo & Juliet'

"I started skating at age 4, after watching two of my older cousins competing. I have been skating for 14 years and have had to relearn how to skate after a traumatic leg injury that needed surgery to fix. I have two US gold medals in Skating Skills and Freestyle. This season I am going to be heading into my fourth season doing solo dance and I am so thankful to have qualified for every national dance final. My goal overall is to just keep doing what I love for as long as I can. My past two free dances have both been from broadway soundtracks so my coaches and I agreed that it was time to branch out and show a different side of my skating. I didn’t want to do the stereotypical Romeo and Juliet Program so it took a little bit of brainstorming to decide and finalize my music. Same thing with the costume.
