My Drill Press Was A Safety Hazard.

My drill press setup was causing more problems than it was solving. After an ergonomic audit of my shop workflow, I realized the machine was positioned at a height that created a genuine safety hazard and destroyed my accuracy. In this video, I walk through the "No Fluff" process of tearing down the existing station, re-engineering the height, and hand-sawing the supports to get the drill press back into a professional, safe, and efficient position. Also, I give you an update on the kids' rocking chairs and porch swing. 🪵 SEE THIS PIECE & MY OTHER BUILDS: 👉 https://www.workingagainstthegrain.com 🎵 Music in this video by Lethal Bradly: https://open.spotify.com/artist/38jGs... 🪚 MY SHOP TOOLS & GEAR: • Table Saw: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/po... • Festool Sander: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/fe... • Festool Domino Jointer: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/fe... • WEN Track Saw: https://www.lowes.com/search?searchTe... • Miter Saw: https://www.lowes.com/search?searchTe... • Router: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-12... • Jet Jointer: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/je... • Dewalt Planer: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/de... • Jet Dust Collector: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/je... 🪵 PREMIUM FINISHES: • Osmo Polyx-Oil: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/os... • Rubio Monocoat Pure: https://www.rubiomonocoatusa.com/prod... 🔗 STAY CONNECTED: • Website: https://www.watgwood.com • Business Inquiries: watgwood.com 📩 BUSINESS INQUIRIES & CUSTOM ORDERS: 👉 [email protected] Thank you for supporting Working Against the Grain!
