This is a direct successor to the E-M1 Mark II (released late 2016). E-M1 Mark III features new image processor Truepic IX that enables a host of incredible shooting features like 7 EV stop effectiveness 5-Axis Image Stabilization built in body, hand-held 50MP high res shot, newly upgraded eye/face tracking AF, live ND and generally improved overall camera performance. I have had an E-M1 Mark III review unit loaned from Olympus Malaysia and have been shooting with it for few weeks, I am sharing my experience shooting with the new E-M1 Mark III in this video, together with an abundance of sample images.
