Making it one our most favorite museums in Paris! Versailles, on the other hand is extremely large and popular, it is recommended to plan at least a whole day to visit just the main palace and the gardens.(And that's not including the Grand and Petit Trianon Palaces & the royal town of Versailles nearby) We only arranged half day because of limited time, also there are usually fewer people entering the Palace of Versailles after around 2-3pm, so it's also a decent idea to visit in the afternoon. Although there was a thunderstorm, luckily the weather was mostly great.
