She proposed the story of a princess longing for her prince as a representation of the song's meaning. "When I was invited to discuss the music video concept with 3D Entertainment, I immediately said I already had an idea. Because the song is about longing, I imagined a princess longing for a prince. From there, the label and production house developed that idea into the current music video concept," said Selfi. The filming took place at a tourist destination in Bandung that has a European castle-like feel. The location was chosen to align with the story concept and the outfit Selfi wore during filming. "The place is really cool, it really looks like a castle. It matched the dress I had already prepared! We filmed from morning until evening, but because of the lyrics 'awal duhai angin malam,' we ended up waiting until nightfall to really get the atmosphere right," Selfi explained. To introduce this song to the public, 3D Entertainment and Selfi Yamma also prepared a promotional program unlike previous releases through a project titled "Sampaikan Rindu Lewat Video Call." The process is quite simple. Fans simply need to upload a creative video on TikTok using the "Sampaikan Rindu" sound. The 30 creators with the most engaging videos will receive an exclusive opportunity to have a live video call with Selfi Yamma.
