From May 6th to May 8th, 2026, at the swimming pool of the 22nd Rehabilitation Center in Ha Long (Bai Chay Ward), the Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training organized a swimming competition as part of the 2026 High School Sports Games. The competition attracted 515 athletes from 28 communes, wards, special zones, and 28 high schools throughout the province. Over three days, athletes competed in 79 events, with the Organizing Committee awarding a total of 570 medals in individual and relay events. The High School Swimming Competition is a traditional annual event aimed at maintaining and promoting the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh"; fostering the movement of physical exercise and sports to improve physical fitness; and evaluating the quality of physical education in schools. Discovering talented athletes to train high-achieving athletes for the province. With good professional skills, serious preparation, and a high level of determination, the athletes created exciting and captivating competitions, cheered enthusiastically by teachers, parents, and spectators. Concluding the Quang Ninh Provincial Student Swimming Championship 2026: Cam Pha Swimming Club brought home the following medals in the following age groups: ✅ High School: 2 Gold Medals - 1 Silver Medal - 6 Bronze Medals. ✅ Primary and Secondary School: 6 Gold Medals - 7 Silver Medals - 20 Bronze Medals. Cam Pha Ward ranked 4th overall with 273 points. Thank you to the parents and students who accompanied us: traveling nearly 40km every day for training.
