Amazing Accuracy from a PITTED, COUNTER BORED Mosin Nagant m91/30. Shooting for Groups

A rather lengthy 3 hour shooting session condensed to 42 minutes. Showing off my fully customized Mosin Nagant, which I believe still preserves its classic look without "tacticool" upgrades like an Archangel stock or scout scope mount (yuck). Rifle is an all matching 1937 Izhevsk general production rifle. This is not an ex sniper. This is your typical trashed, ugly red shellac refurb, $89 beater, with a sewer pipe bore and counter bored muzzle. Zero collector value. There was no harm in turning it into an awesome hunting and target shooting tool. I made some modifications: Scope is a Zeiss Terra 3x 3-9x42 with butler creek caps Weaver rings Custom drilled and tapped scope mount- Tossan Firearms mod. Bent bolt- Tossan Firearms mod. Original stock refinished high gloss poly. At least 200 years worth of arctic fir growth rings visible! Fully free floated under the factory handguard. Timney Mosin trigger @ 2lbs. foam cheek riser/shell holder (now removed) Approximately $800 in upgrades to the rifle if you had to buy everything and have someone else do the work. The scope was free to me, so this rifle only cost me around $400 total. My editing software crashed six times while making this video because it couldn't handle how awesome this rifle is.
