Finding the First Floridians is WFSU Public Media's look at the world of underwater prehistoric archeology in Florida. Because of its abundant waterways, Florida is a prehistory hotspot. In the first chapter, we learned how Florida's flora and fauna transformed as the Pleistocene epoch ended. In this chapter, we look at water. What did Florida look like when much of the world's water was frozen in glaciers? Where did the First Floridians find fresh water to drink?
