In 1924, a group of prospectors claimed to have encountered, shot at, and later been attacked by a group of hulking, ape-like creatures near Mount St. Helens. The creatures laid siege to the cabin the miners stayed in, as the men cowered under a hail of rocks and bestial howls throughout the night, resulting in a legend which endures to this day. Now, over a century later, STM sets off in search of this seminal encounter story. Filmed on the slopes and in the shadow of Mt.
