WOKHA VILLAGE STUDENTS UNION CELEBRATES PLATINUM JUBILEE

The two-day Platinum Jubilee celebration of the Wokha Village Students Union (WVSU) began on December 27 at the village ground. The inaugural event focused on literary pursuits, with Mhomo Tungoe, Joint Secretary to the Governor, as the guest. He urged the youth to value originality, critical thinking, and self-discipline, while avoiding over-reliance on technology and AI. Tungoe also emphasized the importance of choosing good friends and engaging with diverse groups to broaden experiences.Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) President, Lirhonthung E. Kithan, highlighted the village’s legacy of unity and respect, urging continued collective progress. The event included literary competitions such as debates, singing, quizzes, and painting, showcasing participants' talents.The celebration was chaired by Mhachoni Y. Kikon, with Rondeno P. Murry moderating. The event also featured prayers, performances, and a vote of thanks by WVSU Vice President Renathung C. Murry. .
