The Theme Park History of Journey To Atlantis (SeaWorld Orlando)

Journey to Atlantis is a water roller coaster that opened at Seaworld Orlando on April 17th, 1998. Inspired by the famous tale of Atlantis, the attraction takes guests on a voyage to the lost city that has mysteriously emerged from the depths of the sea. In this episode we take a look at the history of Orlando aquarium and zoo, the park being purchase by Anheuser-Busch Company in 1989 and its new direction, the attraction’s construction and story, the other versions located in San Diego and San Antonino and the changes made to ride in 2017.
